Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Sports Analyst to join our client’s growing team. This fully remote position requires a deep understanding of sports data, statistical modeling, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions for teams, leagues, or betting platforms.

You will gather, interpret, and present complex data, develop predictive models, create clear reports and visualizations, and collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure data integrity and actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Sports Analyst or in a similar data analysis role.
• Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL).
• Strong understanding of various sports and their associated metrics.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze large datasets related to sports performance, player statistics, and game outcomes.
• Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to identify trends and forecast results.
• Create clear and concise reports, visualizations, and presentations of findings for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with coaching staff, management, or clients to understand data needs and provide insights.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, new analytical techniques, and relevant sports developments.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the analysis process.
• Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies within the sports domain.
