Placements24 is seeking a Remote Solar Energy Analyst to join a globally distributed energy team in South Africa. You will analyze performance, feasibility, and financial viability of solar projects, using PVsyst/Helioscope/SAM and data tools.

The role emphasizes autonomous work and rigorous reporting. With 5+ years in solar energy analysis, you will model ROI, LCOE, and payback, collaborate remotely with international colleagues, and stay updated on SA energy regulations.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 5 years in solar energy analysis, project finance, or similar.
• Proficiency with solar modeling software (PVsyst/Helioscope/SAM).
• Strong financial analysis skills and investment metrics knowledge.
• Experience with data analysis tools (Excel/Python/Tableau) and remote collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote teams.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without supervision.
• Solid understanding of solar PV tech and performance characteristics.
• Familiarity with SA energy market regulations is a plus.
