Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Social Impact Analyst to evaluate the effectiveness of social programs, with a focus on South Africa, including Kimberley. You will design research methods, collect and analyze data, and produce reports that measure impact and guide future program development.

The role is fully remote and requires strong quantitative and qualitative skills, experience with impact frameworks, and the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative social science field.
• Minimum of 5 years in social impact measurement, program evaluation, or data analysis.
• Proven expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methods and statistical software.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong report writing and presentation skills to convey findings clearly.
• Familiarity with social impact frameworks (Logic Models, Theory of Change).
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of remote work.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement methodologies to measure social impact across programs.
• Collect, clean, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Identify KPIs and metrics to track program effectiveness.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for program improvements.
• Collaborate with program teams to embed impact measurement in design.
• Stay abreast of trends in social impact analytics and evaluation.
• Ensure data integrity and ethical handling of data.
