Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. As SMB Account Executive at Blacksmith, you own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This is not about spamming a list. It is thoughtful outreach, pattern recognition and smart communication, using tools like LinkedIn Sales

Qualifications

B2B sales experience required or preferred.
2 years in SDR/BDR role in agency or SaaS would help.
Ability to personalize outreach and communicate in writing.
Familiar with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
Grit, curiosity and coachability are valued traits.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
