Placements24 is seeking a data-driven SEO Specialist to join a fully remote marketing team. You will audit sites, develop and implement strategies, and drive organic traffic across South Africa.

You will collaborate with content creators and developers, monitor core metrics, and stay ahead of algorithm changes. The role offers flexibility and opportunities for certifications and access to leading SEO tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar digital marketing role.
• Remote work experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Proficiency with SEO tools (GSC, GA, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
• Experience with technical SEO elements (speed, mobile, structured data).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement recommendations for site improvements.
• Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase organic rankings and traffic.
• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and link-building campaigns.
• Monitor and report on key SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
• Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with content creators and web developers to integrate SEO best practices.
