Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Content Strategist for its fully remote team, based out of Cape Town. You will develop and implement content strategies aligned with business goals, manage the content lifecycle, and ensure SEO-optimized output across blogs, social, site copy and email newsletters.

The role requires data-driven decision making, collaboration with designers and marketers, and staying ahead of industry trends to drive engagement and conversions in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Content Strategist or similar role.
• Demonstrable success in developing content strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong understanding of SEO and CMS.
• Experience with analytics tools to measure content performance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and business goals.
• Create, edit and optimize content across blogs, social media, website copy, and email newsletters.
• Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve content visibility and search rankings.
• Analyze content performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product teams to ensure content consistency and effectiveness.
