Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated SEO Marketing Specialist to drive organic growth and improve search engine rankings. This fully remote role focuses on Midrand-based clients while allowing flexible, remote work.

You will implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies, work with content teams, and report on performance. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of SEO experience, proficiency with major SEO tools, and strong analytical and communication skills for independent remote

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2-4 years of proven experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Demonstrable success in improving organic search rankings and traffic.
Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz.
Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO factors.
Experience with keyword research, content optimization, and link building strategies.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website architecture.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify optimization opportunities.
Develop and implement comprehensive on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
Perform technical SEO audits and recommend improvements for website architecture, crawlability, and indexability.
Create and optimize SEO-friendly content in collaboration with content creators.
Manage and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
Monitor search engine rankings, website traffic, and other key SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Provide regular reports on SEO performance, insights, and actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with the web development and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across the website.
Identify and troubleshoot any SEO-related issues impacting website performance.
