Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior UX/UI Designer to join our distributed team servicing clients globally from near Mossel Bay. You will craft intuitive, engaging experiences for web and mobile ecommerce platforms, translating complex user needs into elegant design solutions.

Work with product managers, developers, and marketers to create seamless journeys that drive conversions and customer satisfaction in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience with ecommerce portfolio.
Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong user research, IA, and interaction design knowledge.
Experience designing for responsive web and mobile with conversion focus.

Responsibilities

Lead design from concept to execution for web and mobile ecommerce.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing.
Develop design systems and style guides for brand consistency.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to define user flows.
Advise on user-centered design principles across the organization.
Stay updated with latest UX trends in ecommerce and product development.
