Placements24, a global logistics provider, seeks a Senior Supply Chain Optimization Engineer for a fully remote role. You will model and optimize inventory, network design, and transportation to drive cost savings and service improvements across global operations.

You will lead data-driven projects, collaborate with virtual teams, and develop KPI dashboards while staying ahead of industry trends. A master's in a quantitative field and 6–8 years in SCM are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field (IE/OR/SCM).
• 6–8 years in supply chain analysis, optimization, and management.
• Proven experience with optimization projects in global SCM.
• Strong skills in inventory, demand planning, network design, and transport.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end processes to identify inefficiencies and risks.
• Develop and implement optimization models for inventory and network design.
• Model supply chain scenarios using data analytics tools.
• Collaborate with virtual teams and external partners to gather data.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects and track KPIs.
• Design business cases and present recommendations to management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Facilitate virtual workshops to share best practices.
• Manage vendor/consultant relationships involved in optimization.
