Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Senior Software Engineer to join a gaming platform team. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services powering a next-generation online experience.

This is a fully remote role within South Africa with flexible hours. You will collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA, drive architecture decisions, mentor junior engineers, and ensure code quality through tests and reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend development experience with scalable systems.
• Proficient in Java, Python, C#, or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
