Placements24 is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to provide remote oversight and technical guidance for construction projects in South Africa. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in site engineering and construction supervision.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, QA and safety standards.
- Proficiency with engineering software and digital communication platforms.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support and guidance to site engineers and teams.
- Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and QA plans.
- Monitor progress against schedule and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance on site via virtual supervision.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and queries during construction.
- Collaborate with project management to ensure seamless execution.
