Job summary

BigTalent is seeking intermediate and senior full-stack Python engineers to support the development of a web-based B2B SME financing platform using Flask and FastAPI. The role is fully remote with potential relocation to the UK later.

You'll collaborate with frontend teams, write robust Python code, design APIs, and ensure secure, scalable solutions while leveraging MySQL/PostgreSQL and RESTful integrations in an international SaaS context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Python backend experience.
• Hands-on with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with RESTful API design and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization and Git.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with front-end developers to design and develop APIs for web applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using Python.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and services.
• Work with databases and write complex SQL queries.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the existing codebase.
• Implement security and data protection measures, following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing, ensuring adherence to best coding practices.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the quality of the application.
