About the Role

Our client, a global leader in the (Industry - e.g., Supply Chain Logistics or FinTech), is seeking an exceptional Remote Senior Project Manager to lead and manage key strategic initiatives across multiple international regions. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of global, cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget management, risk assessment, and stakeholder management for global initiatives.
• Lead and motivate virtual, geographically dispersed project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Establish clear communication protocols and ensure effective information flow across different time zones and cultural contexts.
• Identify, analyze, and proactively manage project risks and issues, implementing timely and effective mitigation strategies.
• Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, reporting on progress, milestones, and potential deviations to senior leadership.
• Ensure adherence to global project management standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes for global projects, ensuring quality and value.
• Drive continuous improvement in remote project delivery processes and team effectiveness.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, International Relations, or a related field.
• An MBA or relevant Master's degree is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion dedicated to managing large-scale, international, or global projects.
• Proven success in delivering complex projects within defined timelines and budgets, with a strong emphasis on remote or distributed team leadership.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar senior-level project management certification is mandatory.
• Expertise in utilizing a range of project management software and collaboration tools designed for remote teams (e.g., Asana, Trello, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Jira).
• Exceptional leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage diverse global stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in risk management, change management, and stakeholder engagement in a global context.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
