Qualifications

• PhD in Microbiology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental microbiology, with a focus on detection and analysis.
• Proficiency with molecular techniques such as PCR, qPCR, and DNA sequencing for microbial identification.
• Experience with microbiological culturing techniques and data analysis software.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and assessment methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental samples (water, soil, air) for microbial contaminants and assess microbial community structures.
• Develop and implement testing protocols for identifying and quantifying pathogenic and indicator microorganisms.
• Research and evaluate microbial remediation techniques for polluted sites.
• Interpret complex microbiological data and provide actionable recommendations for environmental management.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and contribute to scientific publications.
