Job summary

Farm Manager SA is seeking a Remote Senior Manufacturing Operations Lead to oversee and optimize manufacturing operations across global sites, driving operational excellence and standardizing processes. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership of remote teams, and deep expertise in Lean and Six Sigma to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

Flexible remote position with international scope.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations management.
5+ years in a senior leadership role within multi-site manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic operational plans to improve efficiency, quality, and cost across sites.
Oversee multiple manufacturing sites ensuring standardized processes and best practices.
Lead and mentor remote operations managers and production teams.
Drive KPIs related to production output, OEE, scrap reduction, and on-time delivery.
Implement Lean Manufacturing and other process optimization programs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations across sites.
Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and product development to optimize end-to-end processes.
Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to monitor performance and identify interventions.
Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
Facilitate effective remote communication among distributed teams.
