Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Senior Logistics Analyst to join its remote operations team. The role focuses on analyzing complex logistics data, identifying trends, and developing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance supply chain performance across national operations including Sandton.

You will work with SQL, Python, R and BI tools to create dashboards, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present findings to senior management in a remote-first

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics analysis or supply chain optimization.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R) and BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of logistics operations, transportation modes, and warehouse management systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to communicate complex findings clearly to diverse audiences remotely.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain and logistics data to identify efficiency and cost reduction opportunities.
• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize routes, warehousing, and inventory.
• Create dashboards and reports to track KPIs and keep stakeholders updated.
