Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives in a fully remote capacity, supporting operations near Mahikeng. You will oversee large-scale IT projects, ensure delivery on time and within budget, and uphold quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on governance across distributed teams, with emphasis on risk mitigation, reporting to senior management, and driving continuous process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive IT project management experience on large-scale enterprise projects.
• Experience with ERP implementations, cloud migrations, and system upgrades.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and completion of complex IT projects across infrastructure, software, and security.
• Develop project plans, define scope, establish timelines, manage resources, and mitigate risks.
• Manage budgets and expenditures to meet financial objectives.
• Coordinate communications among distributed project teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to IT governance, security policies, and quality assurance standards.
• Conduct status meetings and report to senior management; drive continuous improvement.
