Placements24 is seeking a Senior IoT Systems Integrator to join a fully remote engineering team. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing complex IoT ecosystems across industries, leveraging MQTT/CoAP, cloud platforms, and embedded systems.

You will architect scalable IoT solutions, troubleshoot integration challenges, and provide remote technical leadership to ensure seamless operation of devices and data platforms for a global clientele.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in systems integration, software development, or network engineering.
• Proven ability to design and deploy end-to-end IoT solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, AMQP) and cloud platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, Java.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable IoT architectures and solutions, including device connectivity, data acquisition, and cloud integration.
• Integrate various IoT devices, sensors, gateways, and platforms using standard and proprietary protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, HTTP).
• Configure and manage cloud-based IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT) for device management, data processing, and analytics.
• Develop APIs and microservices to facilitate seamless data flow between IoT devices, cloud services, and enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues across the IoT stack, from edge devices to cloud dashboards.
• Provide remote technical guidance and support to development teams and clients.
• Stay current with emerging IoT technologies, standards, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IoT system designs, configurations, and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and data scientists.
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of security measures for IoT systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems integration, software development, or network engineering, with a strong focus on IoT technologies.
