Placements24 is assisting a prominent hotel group in recruiting a Senior Housekeeping Manager for a fully remote role. You will develop and implement housekeeping protocols, lead remote teams, and drive quality inspections to ensure spotless guest environments across locations.

The role demands a strong background in sanitation, infection control, and staff training, with the ability to communicate effectively with on-site teams from a distance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and operations remotely.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques.
• Strong understanding of sanitation, hygiene, and infection control protocols.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain high standards for housekeeping and public area cleanliness.
• Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all housekeeping functions.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for housekeeping staff and supervisors.
• Conduct remote quality inspections and audits to ensure adherence to standards.
• Manage housekeeping budgets, control inventory of supplies, and optimize resource allocation.
• Stay abreast of new cleaning technologies, products, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experience.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for guest rooms and public areas related to cleanliness.
• Analyze housekeeping performance data and provide reports and recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
