Placements24 is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a global engineering firm in a fully remote capacity. You will lead geotechnical investigations, design foundations, slopes, tunnels and dams for international projects, while coordinating with teams across time zones.

The ideal candidate has a MSc/PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, 10+ years of progressive experience, and strong skills in numerical modeling (Plaxis, FLAC).

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field from a leading university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering, with significant exposure to diverse international projects.
• Expertise in numerical modeling of geotechnical problems.
• Proven experience in designing foundations, earth retaining structures, and slope stability solutions.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly in a remote setting.
