Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Senior Educational Data Analyst for a fully remote role in education analytics. You will collect, clean, and analyze large educational datasets, develop dashboards, and provide actionable recommendations to improve student outcomes and curriculum design.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in education data analysis, strong proficiency with R/SQL, and experience with Tableau/Power BI.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Education, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, focused on education.
Proven experience with statistical software packages (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS) and SQL.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
Strong understanding of educational metrics, assessment data, and learning analytics.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze large, complex datasets remotely.
Strong written and verbal communication; explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning is a plus.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various educational sources.
Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in educational data.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools to present findings to stakeholders.
Interpret data to provide actionable recommendations for improving student performance, curriculum design, and pedagogical strategies.
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and researchers to understand data needs and support analytical requirements.
Design and implement data collection methodologies and surveys.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality in analyses.
Stay current with advancements in data analytics and educational data mining techniques.
Develop predictive models to forecast educational outcomes and identify at-risk students.
Communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
