Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior E-commerce Social Media Manager to lead our client's online presence. This fully remote role focuses on brand awareness, engagement, and sales through strategic social campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and X/Twitter.

You will develop content, manage paid campaigns, analyze performance, collaborate with marketing and e-commerce teams, and stay ahead of trends in a fast-growing online retailer environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in social media management with e-commerce focus.
• Proven track record in developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and sales.
• In-depth knowledge of major social platforms, their algorithms, and advertising best practices.
• Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and inform strategy.
• Experience with paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads Manager, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
• Creative mindset with ability to generate innovative content ideas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive e-commerce sales.
• Create, curate, and manage engaging content including copy, visuals, and video for target audiences.
• Manage day-to-day social media operations: scheduling posts, monitoring conversations, responding to comments/messages.
• Analyze performance data, identify trends, and generate reports with actionable insights to optimize campaigns.
• Collaborate with e-commerce and marketing teams to align social media with launches and campaigns.
• Plan and execute paid social advertising campaigns with budget management and performance tracking.
• Stay ahead of trends and best practices; recommend new strategies.
• Build relationships with influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and credibility.
• Address customer feedback and manage online reputation proactively.
