Placements24 is seeking a Senior Management Consultant to join a fully remote, premier management consultancy. You will lead client engagements across industries, driving strategic change, digital transformation, and operational improvements while delivering measurable value from anywhere.

You will mentor junior consultants, manage complex projects, and partner with senior executives. The role requires a Master’s degree plus 7+ years in management consulting, strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field; a PhD is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in management consulting or a similar strategic advisory role with a proven track record.
• Expertise in digital transformation, change management, process optimization, and strategic planning methodologies.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead projects, manage client relationships, and deliver results in a remote work environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Must be based in South Africa or have the legal right to work remotely from within the country.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements, from diagnosis through to implementation, focusing on strategic planning, operational improvement, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of client businesses, identifying key challenges, opportunities, and areas for improvement using robust data analysis and market intelligence.
• Develop innovative and actionable recommendations tailored to specific client needs and industry contexts.
• Collaborate closely with client stakeholders at all levels, fostering strong relationships and ensuring buy-in for proposed solutions.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring successful and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering their professional development and contributing to a high-performing team culture.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in management consultancy and digital transformation.

Education

Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field

7+ years of management consulting experience
