About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and passionate Remote Senior Curriculum Developer specializing in Early Childhood Education (ECE). This is a fully remote position, enabling you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. The role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of innovative and developmentally appropriate curricula for preschool and kindergarten-aged children. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of child development theories, pedagogical best practices in ECE, and the ability to create engaging, play-based learning experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Design age-appropriate learning activities, lesson plans, educational games, and assessment tools for children aged 3-6.
• Ensure all curriculum content is aligned with current ECE research, best practices, and relevant educational standards.
• Collaborate virtually with subject matter experts, illustrators, and content creators to produce high-quality, multi-sensory learning materials.
• Review and revise existing curriculum components to ensure they remain relevant, effective, and innovative.
• Develop training materials and provide guidance to educators on the implementation of the ECE curriculum.
• Conduct research on emerging trends and best practices in early childhood education.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables for curriculum development initiatives.
• Champion a child-centered approach to learning throughout all curriculum materials.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design within Early Childhood Education settings.
• In-depth knowledge of child development theories, learning methodologies (e.g., Reggio Emilia, Montessori), and assessment practices for young children.
• Proven ability to create engaging, age-appropriate, and culturally responsive educational content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editing and proofreading capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in leading projects and collaborating effectively in a remote team environment.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for content creation and project management.
• A strong passion for early learning and a commitment to fostering foundational skills in young children.
