Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Construction Estimator to join a fully remote team. This senior role focuses on developing accurate bids for diverse construction projects, leveraging digital tools for seamless collaboration and project assessment.

You will analyze plans, specs, and documentation, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and procurement to account for materials, labour, subcontractors, and overheads. Remote leadership and professional growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in construction estimating, with strong lead/senior responsibilities.
• Proficiency in estimating software (CostX, Accubid, Planswift) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals and other docs to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Develop detailed quantity take-offs for materials, labour, and equipment.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids, ensuring competitive pricing.
