• Collaborate extensively with virtual project teams, including project managers, other engineers, architects, and consultants, utilizing online collaboration tools.
• Ensure all designs meet stringent South African National Standards (SANS), regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters remotely.
• Perform peer reviews of designs and technical submissions from team members.
• Actively participate in virtual design review meetings and client consultations.
• Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records for all design activities.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and design methodologies in civil engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• A Master's degree is a strong advantage.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr. Eng).
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil design engineering, with substantial experience in major infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in using advanced design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, Infraworks, or similar.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage design tasks effectively in a remote setting.
