Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of various civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage systems, water supply networks, and earthworks.
• Utilize advanced civil engineering software for design, modeling, and analysis (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads).
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documentation.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies remotely, often requiring coordination with local partners or site teams.
• Collaborate effectively with a remote team of engineers, architects, planners, and project managers using virtual communication and project management platforms.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant national and international engineering standards and best practices.
• Perform technical reviews of designs prepared by other team members.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation for assigned civil engineering tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers working remotely.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders virtually to present designs, discuss project progress, and address concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in civil design and infrastructure project management.
• Proven experience working effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment.
• Proficiency in industry-standard civil design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, or similar.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, stormwater management, road design, and urban planning concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Experience with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Asana, Slack).
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is highly desirable, or an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) status.
