About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptual and FEED design phases for new chemical process plants and modifications.
• Perform complex process simulations, including dynamic simulations and advanced control strategies.
• Conduct rigorous Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and HAZOP studies to ensure plant safety.
• Develop detailed process design packages, including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and control philosophies.
• Provide expert technical consultation to project teams, manufacturing, and R&D departments.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices for process design and engineering.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering .
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in chemical process design and engineering.
• Expert proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus , and other advanced process simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, including reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and transport phenomena.
• Experience in managing design scope, schedule, and budget for complex projects.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work autonomously.
