Placements24 is seeking a Senior Category Manager to oversee indirect spend procurement for a multinational. This fully remote role requires leadership, advanced negotiation, and strategic sourcing across IT, professional services, facilities, and marketing.

You will drive cost savings, supplier innovation, and value creation while collaborating with global stakeholders from a remote setup.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and category management, indirect spend.
• Proven track record delivering cost savings and value.
• Expertise in complex negotiations and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for indirect spend areas.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes: market analysis, RFx, negotiations, contracts.
• Manage high-value supplier relationships and performance against contracts.
• Drive cost savings and value creation through strategic sourcing and process improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure strategies meet requirements.
• Monitor market trends and best practices in indirect procurement.
• Develop risk management strategies for key categories.
• Oversee contract compliance and mentor junior procurement staff.
