Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Bioanalytical Scientist for a fully remote research team in the biopharmaceutical space. You will develop, validate, and transfer LC-MS/MS and immunoassay methods to quantify drugs, metabolites, and biomarkers across plasma, serum, urine, and tissue.

The role requires a PhD/MS and at least 5 years of hands-on bioanalytical experience in pharma/CRO, with GLP/GCP knowledge and strong data integrity.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on bioanalytical method development/validation in pharma or CRO.
• Extensive LC-MS/MS experience and related software.
• Proficiency in small and/or large molecule assays (peptides, proteins, antibodies).
• Strong knowledge of GxP regulations for bioanalytical studies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate and transfer bioanalytical methods (LC-MS/MS, ELISA).
• Perform bioanalytical testing to support preclinical and clinical programs per regulatory guidelines.
• Analyze complex datasets, troubleshoot assays and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare validation and study reports for regulatory submissions.
• Maintain instruments and ensure GLP/GCP compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers, study directors and clients.
• Stay updated on bioanalytical advances and optimize workflows.
• Mentor junior scientists and provide technical guidance.
