Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a Senior E-commerce Beauty Advisor to join a leading beauty and wellness brand. This fully remote role allows you to work from anywhere in SA while driving online sales through expert advice, live chat, email, and video consultations.

You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of skincare, makeup, and haircare, deliver personalized recommendations, conduct virtual demonstrations, and help optimize the online customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Beauty Advisor, Skincare Specialist, Makeup Artist, or similar role, preferably with e-commerce experience.
• Extensive knowledge of beauty products, including skincare, cosmetics, and haircare.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport virtually.
• Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and digital communication tools.
• Strong sales aptitude and a passion for helping customers find the perfect products.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert beauty advice and personalized product recommendations to customers via live chat, email, and video consultations.
• Assist customers with online purchasing decisions, addressing product inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Conduct virtual product demonstrations and tutorials to showcase product features and benefits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, product lines, and competitor activities.
• Achieve and exceed online sales targets and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Collaborate with the e-commerce team to provide feedback on website usability and customer experience improvements.
• Develop and nurture long-term customer relationships, encouraging repeat business and brand advocacy.
