Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Avionic Systems Specialist to design, integrate, test, and support advanced avionic systems for a global client base. This remote role offers the opportunity to contribute from anywhere while shaping the future of aviation technology.

You will work with a distributed team, handle system requirements, perform simulations, and develop test plans for hardware and software, ensuring compliance with ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, and AFDX.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in avionic systems engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience with avionic bus protocols: ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, and AFDX.
• Familiarity with RTCA DO-178C and DO-254.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proficiency with avionic bus protocols such as ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, and AFDX.
• Experience with simulation and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
• Familiarity with RTCA DO-178C and DO-254 standards.
