Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Avionic Systems Specialist to join a pioneering aerospace client. This fully remote role focuses on designing, integrating, testing, and supporting advanced avionics for next-generation aircraft, across a global client base.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, at least 8 years of experience, and strong hands-on with ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, and AFDX, plus MATLAB/Simulink.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in avionic systems engineering.
• Proficiency with avionic bus protocols and relevant tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced avionic system architectures for new aircraft programs and upgrades.
• Integrate navigation, communication, flight control, and display systems.
• Perform detailed system analysis, simulation, and performance modelling.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for avionic systems, in simulation and on hardware.
