Placements24 is seeking a Senior AI Research Scientist to join its remote R&D team. You will push the boundaries of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, CV, and RL, developing models and experiments that influence product strategy.

You will collaborate with world-class researchers, publish in top venues, and mentor junior colleagues while translating theoretical advances into practical AI systems for global applications.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, ML or related quantitative field.
• At least 5 years post-doctoral AI/ML research experience.
• Strong publication record in top AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ACL).
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX).
• Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, esp. in remote settings.

Responsabilités

• Conduct cutting-edge research in machine learning, deep learning, and related AI fields.
• Develop novel algorithms and models for NLP, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
• Design and implement experiments to evaluate and validate AI models.
• Analyze large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and develop data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with software engineers to prototype and deploy AI models into production systems.
• Stay abreast of the latest research trends and breakthroughs in AI research.
• Publish findings in top-tier AI conferences and journals.
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the team's scientific growth.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of AI research within the organization.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code for AI research.
