Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative field (CS/AI/ML/Stats).
• 7+ years hands-on ML research, 2+ in leadership roles.
• Expertise in deep learning models (CNNs/RNNs/Transformers).
• Strong knowledge of statistics, optimization, probability.
• Proficiency in Python and major ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
• Experience with big data tech (Spark/Hadoop) desirable.
• Excellent communication and leadership in a remote setting.
• Track record of publications in top AI/ML venues.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D of advanced ML models and algorithms.
• Define and manage the AI research roadmap.
• Mentor a team of researchers and engineers.
• Oversee design, implementation, evaluation of ML systems.
• Research novel ML techniques (DL, RL, NLP).
• Analyze large datasets to extract insights for model development.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to deploy research outcomes.
• Publish in top conferences and journals; contribute to IP.
