Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are eager to open doors and drive pipeline. As an SDR at Blacksmith, you will research accounts, identify decision makers, and book meetings to create the first impression of the agency for prospective clients.

You will work remotely within South Africa, using tools like LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality outreach and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiar with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
