Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. You will create the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients and drive pipeline with thoughtful, high-quality outreach.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar role.
• Agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on the ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and improve targeting with the sales team.
