Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative to open doors across South Africa. You will research, source and book qualified meetings, acting as the first impression of Blacksmith with potential clients.

You'll use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to build pipelines, personalize outreach, and drive top-of-funnel activity while maintaining quality interactions.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
