Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to help open doors and build a qualified pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, sourcing accounts, identifying key decision makers and booking meetings for our growing team.

As the ideal candidate, you bring at least two years in an SDR or BDR role, strong written communication, and familiarity with tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR or similar role.
• Strong written communication and personalization.
• Experience with outbound tools and Salesforce.
• Ability to build and manage targeted contact lists.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
