Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are driven to open doors and build pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking qualified meetings with key prospects.

This role emphasizes thoughtful outreach over volume, using tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to sustain high-quality engagement.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role (agency or SaaS experience a plus).
• Strong written communication with the ability to personalise outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools: Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalised outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
