Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel outreach across South Africa. You will research, source, and book meetings with qualified decision makers, shaping the initial impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

This is a remote, full-time position. You will use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, and Salesforce to hit volume goals while keeping interactions high quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS is preferred.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
