Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers, and book meetings with qualified prospects while delivering a strong first impression of Blacksmith Agency to potential clients.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in SDR/BDR roles, strong written communication, and familiarity with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
