Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. You will create the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients and drive pipeline through thoughtful outreach using LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• B2B sales experience preferred; full-cycle closers with quota are welcome.
• Strong written communication with the ability to personalize outreach.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
