Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to reach volume targets while keeping every touchpoint high quality. This is a remote role within SA.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or similar is required.
• Strong written communication with the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools listed and using Salesforce for pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
