Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Online Science Educator to join its remote teaching faculty serving learners in and around Centurion. You will deliver comprehensive science education across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics through engaging virtual lessons and interactive online platforms.

This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from home while contributing significantly to the advancement of science education for a diverse student body.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant Science field or Science Education.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching science with online instruction.
• Proficiency in using LMS and digital educational tools.
• Excellent communication and virtual classroom management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging online science lessons, incorporating interactive activities and multimedia resources.
• Create and grade assignments, quizzes, and exams to assess student comprehension and progress.
• Provide individualized support and feedback to students, addressing their questions and scientific inquiries.
• Facilitate online discussions and collaborative projects to promote scientific inquiry and teamwork.
• Stay current with advancements in science and educational technologies to enhance teaching methods.
• Manage virtual classroom dynamics and ensure a positive and productive learning atmosphere for all students.
