Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Sanitation Specialist to lead quality assurance and compliance for cleaning operations. You will develop and monitor sanitation standards remotely, ensuring hygiene and safety across client sites, including Vereeniging, through virtual audits and remote guidance.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, industry best practices, and ongoing remote training to support on-site teams while maintaining nationwide sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, Chemistry, Biology or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of sanitation, hygiene management or QA experience in cleaning industry.
• Knowledge of sanitation principles, chemical applications and infection control strategies.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting and using digital tools for remote assessments.
• Excellent communication, training and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine sanitation policies, procedures and best practices for diverse cleaning environments.
• Conduct remote QA assessments and virtual site inspections from submitted data/reports.
• Analyze sanitation performance metrics and develop action plans to address deficiencies.
• Provide remote training and guidance to cleaning staff and supervisors on sanitation protocols.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes and emerging sanitation technologies.
• Liaise with clients to ensure standards meet contractual obligations.
