Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Sanitation Compliance Officer to safeguard health standards across South Africa. The role focuses on developing and implementing sanitation policies, performing remote audits, and leveraging data analysis to drive improvements.

You will work independently from a remote setting with flexible hours, support site teams, and maintain records of compliance activities while reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Science or related field.
• At least 3 years of sanitation compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of SA health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Proficient with digital data analysis, reporting and remote communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update sanitation protocols aligned with health regulations.
• Conduct remote audits and virtual inspections of facilities.
• Analyze sanitation data and inspection reports for trends.
• Train site personnel on sanitation practices and compliance.
• Investigate sanitation incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain records and generate management reports.
