Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Sanitation & Hygiene Coordinator to lead sanitation and hygiene initiatives across the supply chain. You will develop, implement and monitor programs, conduct virtual audits, and train remote teams to uphold HACCP and ISO 22000 standards.

You will liaise with QA and Operations to embed hygiene into daily workflows, manage remote procurement of supplies, and ensure regulatory compliance across facilities worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Environmental Health, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sanitation, hygiene, or quality assurance experience in food manufacturing or distribution.
• In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and relevant food safety regulations.
• Proven experience in audits and training material development.
• Strong remote communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sanitation and hygiene programs aligned with HACCP/ISO 22000.
• Conduct virtual audits of sites and 3PLs to ensure hygiene compliance.
• Train remote staff on sanitation techniques and safe cleaning practices.

About the Role

Our client, a leading international food and beverage distributor, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Remote Sanitation & Hygiene Coordinator . This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to manage sanitation compliance and best practices from your home office. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring hygiene protocols across the company's supply chain and distribution centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety, HACCP, and regulatory compliance. You will conduct virtual audits, train remote teams on hygiene standards, and ensure that all operations meet or exceed industry benchmarks. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders remotely. Key Responsibilities

Requirements
