About the Role

You will be responsible for conducting thorough remote audits, analyzing documentation, interviewing staff via video conferencing, and providing comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive remote audits of client facilities to assess sanitation practices and compliance with relevant standards (e.g., HACCP, GFSI, FDA, local regulations).
• Review client documentation, including sanitation plans, training records, and pest control logs.
• Perform virtual site inspections using video conferencing tools and client-provided media.
• Interview client personnel remotely to gather information and assess understanding of sanitation protocols.
• Analyze audit findings and generate detailed reports outlining compliance status, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.
• Develop clear, actionable recommendations for clients to enhance their sanitation programs.
• Provide guidance and support to clients in implementing corrective actions.
• Stay current with evolving sanitation regulations, industry best practices, and emerging risks.
• Maintain professional confidentiality and impartiality throughout all audits.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders regarding audit schedules, findings, and follow-up actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in sanitation management, auditing, or quality assurance, preferably within a regulated industry.
• In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, cleaning validation, microbial control, and pest management.
• Familiarity with international and national sanitation standards and regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA, GFSI).
• Proven ability to conduct audits and generate detailed, objective reports.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Proficiency in using virtual communication and collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, cloud-based documentation platforms).
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PCQI, HACCP certification) are highly desirable.
