Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Sanitation Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to health and safety standards across all sites. You will develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs, conduct remote audits, and guide site managers.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or Environmental Science, at least five years in compliance or sanitation, and strong communication skills for remote training and guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in compliance, auditing, or a sanitation-focused role.
• In-depth knowledge of sanitation regulations, public health guidelines, and safety management systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in remote training and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive sanitation compliance programs and policies.
• Conduct regular remote audits and inspections to assess adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Investigate and report on any compliance issues or incidents, recommending corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to site personnel on sanitation best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with all applicable local, national, and international sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to ensure optimal compliance.
